LANDSCAPE DESIGNER FULL OR PART TIME

The successful candidate will have a professional, welcoming personality that puts clients at ease, allowing them to best convey their ideas and needs. This position will best fit someone who loves client interaction and can use their experience, plus their plant and design knowledge, to create the landscape the client envisions.

Requirements:

• 5 years or more of landscape design experience is required. (This is not an entry-level position.)
• Must be detail-oriented providing excellent service to a wide variety of client needs, preferences and budgets, from first contact through design implementation.
• Must be very organized, dependable, and have superior time management skills.
• Be flexible; able to meet all deadlines, from internal review to client presentation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while managing various sized projects and designing for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Excellent plant material and basic plant care knowledge.
• Working knowledge of grounds management, landscape and hardscape installation, materials and procedures.
• Need excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and dedication to client satisfaction.
• Ability to convey your design ideas to clients verbally, as well as through hand or digital graphic techniques.
• Experience in using CRM Dynascape 360 preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with customers for consultations.
• Ability to work directly with clients and staff to complete designs in accordance with the client’s vision, budget, and deadline.
• Estimating, designing, and accurately completing projects in a timely manner.
• Occasionally overseeing site design installations.
• Managing digital and physical client folders.
• Implement designs according to the accepted standards of practice and local codes and/or ordinances.

Other Requirements:

• Logan’s normal hours are Monday through Saturday, 9AM to 6PM. Hours may be extended seasonally. Availability on Saturdays is required. Typical work week will be five days.
